Plan Stamping Policy
Plan Stamp Policy
This document outlines the policies and procedures for Senior Engineers who are responsible for stamping building plans at Architect United. All Engineers must adhere to these guidelines when approving, stamping, or rejecting any building plan.
Approval Process
In order to approve a building plan submitted for review, Senior Engineers must adhere to the following requirements:

The building plan meets all applicable local, state, and federal laws

All relevant safety measures have been adhered to

The building plan is structurally sound and safe for residents

The completed project will be within the approved budget
-
All necessary documentation, such as permits and warranties, is included with the submission.
If any of the above requirements are not met, the Senior Engineer must reject the building plan and provide detailed feedback for how to improve it and make it compliant with all regulations.
Stamp Placement
Senior Engineers are also responsible for stamping approved building plans. Stamps must be placed in the designated area of the plan and should include:

A signature from the approving Senior Engineer

The date and time of approval

Senior Engineer Seal

Any additional documentation required by local, state, or federal regulations.

Communication, Delivery & Quote Policy

Communication
To maintain project progress and ensure timely delivery, communication between Architect United and the client is crucial. If there is no response or communication from the client for a period of 14 consecutive days, the project will be considered abandoned. Architect United reserves the right to halt all work and charge for services completed up to that point.
Delivery Disclaimer
While every effort will be made to deliver the complete plans within 15 business days, unforeseen circumstances such as delays in permitting or revisions may impact the timeline. Any delays will be communicated promptly, and a revised timeline will be provided.
Quote Disclaimer
The quote provided is based on the original square footage specified. If it is determined that the actual square footage exceeds the provided estimate, the overall quote will be adjusted to reflect the difference. Any additional balance owed will be included in the final invoice.
Note: Architect United will revise the Site Development Plans as needed until they are approved by the county.

Architect United Client Conduct Policy
At Architect United, we are committed to delivering top-tier architectural services and fostering a professional, respectful, and collaborative working relationship with every client. To achieve the best results, we believe a strong foundation of mutual respect and effective communication is essential.
While we strive to go above and beyond for our clients, we reserve the right to discontinue any project if a client demonstrates behavior that hinders a productive and respectful working environment. Unprofessional conduct includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Verbal Abuse: Use of offensive, hostile, or insulting language directed at any member of our team.

Harassment: Behavior that creates a hostile or intimidating environment, including inappropriate comments, threats, or repeated unwelcome actions.

Failure to Communicate: Ignoring attempts at communication, refusing to provide necessary information, or acting in a combative or uncooperative manner.

Other Disrespectful Actions: Any behavior that undermines the collaborative spirit we uphold, such as making unreasonable demands or disrespecting our team's professionalism.
Should a project be terminated due to such circumstances, Architect United will deduct costs for labor already invested in the project at a standard rate of $150 per hour. After deducting these labor costs, the remaining balance of any prepaid fees will be promptly refunded to the client.
This policy is designed to protect both parties by ensuring a healthy and positive environment where creativity and productivity can thrive. By engaging with Architect United, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
